THEFT OF MEAT

The theft of meat from the Westfield freezing works was admitted by an employee, Frank Peter Franicevic, in the Otahuhu Police Court before Mr. W. I!: McKean yesterday. Senior-sergeant Daly said there had been numerous complaints of petty thefts which amounted in the aggregate to a considerable sum. The accused had been previously warned by the management. A fine of 30s was imposed, an application for the suppression of the accused's name being refused.
