HORSE AND CAR COLLIDE
[from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday When riding along the road at Waharoa yesterday, a Maori youth, D. Johnson, of Waharoa, collided with a motor-car. His horse had to be destroyed, and Johnson received a compound fracture of the right leg. After receiving first-aid treatment at the Matamata Hospital, the injured youth was removed to the Waikato Hospital. His condition is fairly serious,.
