THE DOMINION'S EFFORT 5700 MEN IN TRAINING. [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Friday ■ The manner in which New Zealand is fulfilling its obligations under the empire air training scheme was reviews by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, in a speech .prior to the commencement of a concert by the oya New Zealand Air Force Band in t Town Hall to-night. , Mr. Jones said the fact that the _ minion now had-5700 men. in training for the Air Force would give the pubU an idea of the important contribute the country was making to the pire's mighty air effort. yo -i fln d There were over 1000 New Z airmen serving in Great Britain present, he continued, and of t had been decorated for' service.
