The danger to the north in the spread of eiipatorimn was emphasised by the chairman. Mr. -1. A. S. Mackav, at ft meeting of the Whangaroi Comity Council to-day. "It is a pity." said Mr. Mackay, "that sodium chloride is not available for eradication, as eupatorium is probably as great a menace as ragwort." The need for sodium chloride is to be placed before the Department of Agriculture by, the council*.
