THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE MORE STRENGTH IN MARKET Leading issues had firmer support yesterday in the Auckland Stock Exchange, which reflected the .strengthening reported in overseas markets. Business was again very active. Gilt-edged issues were steady at late rates, while hanks also showed little movement. Interest, however, quickened in insurance, an advance "taking place in South British. Brewery shares continued active with a plentiful supply. A good demand was maintained for P. and 0. Deferred, which advanced another .6d, while Broken Hill Proprietary and Woohvortlis were other indicator stocks to gain ground.
