TERMITE MENACE
STEPS BY GOVERNMENT [BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Thursday Inspectors are to be appointed to local bodies in Auckland and New Plymouth for control work in connection with termites, and they will commence their training within the next few weeks, stated the Minister of Housing, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, to-day. Dwellings attacked by termites, added the Minister, will be treated by experts of the Scientific and Industrial Research Department without cost to the owners.
