GREETINGS TO GREECE

PRIME MINISTER'S REPLY [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] "WELLINGTON, Thursday The following message has been received by the New Zealand Government from General Metaxas, Prime Minister of Greece, in reply to the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser's message:— "On behalf of the Greek people, the Greek Government wishes to express to the Government and people of New Zealand warmest thanks for your cordial wishes, which strengthen us in our struggle. The sympathy and appreciation expressed in favour of our armed forces is most welcome, and more so, as the bravery of the New Zealand army is world famous. We will continue the fight to the end for the final victory of the high principles; of morals, justice and liberty."
