NEW SPORTS BODY
An organisation to be known as the Waiheke West Sports Association was formed at a recent meeting of residents held at Oneroa. The association proposes to obtain a reserve of about seven acres at Oneroa to provide a football field and other sports facilities. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr. A. Alison; president, Mr. F. Marsh; committee, Mrs. C. Holloway and Messrs. J. Simmons, W. MacEwain, W. Royal, P. Walker and R. A. Wright.
