This lift constitutes a record for lieht-hcavv and heavy-weight. L. Innaer established a New Zealand light-weight record on the right hand swing straight arm with 95 3 ilb. The referee was Mr. J. "Elliott, who was assisted by Messrs. L. Wilson (Auckland) and S. "Wilder (Christchnrch) as ludges. Following are the Auckland provincial amateur champions for 1040:--Bantam. K. Banks; feather, C.
