At Ngongotaha the combined sewing guild of the Red Cross Society and St. John Ambulance havo added the remaking of . garments for the Lady Galwav Guild to their present activities. Several more large cases of clothing have also been forwarded by the Lady Galway Guild itself. DEVONPORT ACTIVITY One hundred pairs of socks, 39 tins of shortbread and tins of sweets were collected by the Devon port Patriotic Committee (women's activities) for inclusion in the Christmas parcels which are being sent to the troops overseas by the Metropolitan Patriotic Committee. This result was achieved during a week's drive which commenced with a bridge afternoon, where each player donated a pair of socks. In addition to these activities the committee recently sent 84 money belts and tikis to Devonport residents serving with the First and second echelons, a similar presentation having been made to those in the third echelon.
