FILM AT CIVIC THEATRE Spectacular action always to be found in Samuel Goldwyn's productions is not lacking in tho drama "The Westerner," which will continuo its successful season at the Civic J.heatio to-day. Set in one of the most colourful periods of settlement in tho West, the story provides ample scope for thrillinsequences, and these are fully exploited by Gary Cooper's masterful acting in the rolo of the cowboy, Cole Harden, who is caught up in a bitter feud among the settlers which swept the country at the time.
