Mrs. Noel Cole, of Currnn Street, Herno Bay, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Monterey from a visit to Sydney. Mrs. Hugh Knsper, of Tnmaki Drive, Kohimarama, returned by the Monterey yesterday from a three months' visit to Australia. Mrs. E. M. Axford, of Ridings Road, Remuera, who has been visiting Sydney, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Monterey. ' " Mrß. M. Scott-Young, of Marine Parade, Howick, returned to Auckland by the Monterey yesterday from a visit to Sydney. Mrs. A. 0. Scott (Marton), Mrs. Reynolds (Whangarei), and Miss Lorraine Norton (Sydney), are /at the Central Hotel. Mrs. H. Brash, of Sydney, arrived in Auckland by the Monterey yesterday to visit her daughter, Mrs. Peter A. N. Nathan, Remuera Road. Sirs. Mackv Hercus, of Sydney, who arrived by the Monterey yesterday, is staving with her mother, Mrs. G. N. Christian, Thome's Bay, Takapuna. Mrs. R. J. Foreman, of Takapuna, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. James Dickie, of \Yaipahi, Utago, returned to Auckland by air on Saturday. Mrs. Charles Lloyd-Jones, of O'Rorke" Street, and her daughter, Miss Mary Lloyd-Jones, returned by the Monterey yesterday firom a holiday visit to Sydney. Mrs. L. J. Greatwood (Rangoon), Mrs. N. L. Hepburn (Burma), Mrs. A. N. Campbell (Perth), and Mrs. B. B. Sinythe (Wellington) are at the Grand Hotel.

Mrs. C. M. Murray-Aynsley (Malava), Mrs. Bruce Grieve (Hastings), Sirs. W. Dawson and Miss L. Dawson (Rotorua), Mrs. F. Walker (Hamilton), and Mrs. T. Impey (Auckland), are at the Station Hotel.

Mrs. J. Hughlings Jackson, Lochiel Road, Remuera, who has been visiting Wanganui, returned to Auckland at the week-end. She was accompanied by her mother, Sirs. M. Smith, who will spend a holiday with Sirs. Jackson.
