Moira's Kitten

T)EAR ANNE SHIRLEY,—About two months ago we were given a kitten, which wc called Boxer. Ho is a funny little chap. Every night, when he sees Jack finish cutting the wood, he runs up the tfood-pile, along tho fence, and on to the gate-post, where he waits till Jack coines along; then

he jumps on his shoulder for a ride inside. Ho seems to understand every word Mummy says, but when the rest of us give him orders he takes no notice. All the same, he makes us understand clearly everything lie wants. Now we are teaching him to fetch things like a puppy. Cheerio till next time. — Moira Lloyd, Ngaroma.
