PROGRESS AT HAMILTON [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday Rows of modern houses erected under • the State housing scheme hare transformed the former bare sites at Haves Paddock, Richmond Estate, and in the vicinity of Forest Lake. Road and Nor» ton Road, Hamilton, into pleasant,residential areas. The largest of these neff blocks is at Hayes Paddock, where there are 156 units under construction, as well as 24 already completed. Assuming an average of three persons to » house, this area will provide homes for 540 persons.
Providing accommodation for approximately 108 persons, 36 .units hare been completed at Richmond Estate, while nine more are under construction. In the Forest Lake Road area are 29 finished units, with five yet to come, while 23 have been erected at Norton Road.
