Considerable interest lias been aroused in past seasons by games in this competition, and this year should prove no exception. In view of its fine form revealed last week in defeating Richmond, Mount Albert is expected to give a good account of itself against North Shore in the principal game at Carlaw Park, commencing at 3 p.m. In the curtain-raiser, Ponsonby, which has steadilv improved in form during the season, will play Marist. The champion club team. Richmond, will engage City on No. 2 ground anil the curtain-raiser to this ganio will be between Manukau and Papakura.
