Spring is in the Air
A Novel Contest In this contest competitor# are asked to illustrate a poem on Spring. Anjr v fairly short poem may be chosen (old or modern, copied, or, if you think ypu can manage it, original). The drawings may be done, in Indian ink or,painted and may be either in the form of a border round the poem or else separate pictures. All drawings must be entirely your own ideas. Attach your name, age and address to the poem and illustration and send them to ANNE SHIRLEY, Herald Office, Queen Street, Auckland, C.l. Prizes will be awarded as follows: Section A (15-19), first prize 5/-; second and third prizes 2/6 each. Section B (Under 15), first prize 5/-; second and third prizes 2/6 each. All entries should reach this office not later than FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27.
