NORTHCOTE BOROUGH
At the last meeting of the Northcote Borough Council the town clerk reported that the rates paid within the discount period had been the highest for some years. The amount received to date was £6083, representing over 55 per cent of the total struck. I'avourable reports were received of water boring operations in the borough. It was decided to endeavour to obtain suitable gear to enlarge the bores with a view to the development of a water.
