CANADIAN REGISTER NEARLY A MILLION MEN WAR LOAN FULLY SUBSCRIBED By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received September 11, 7.50 p.m.) OTTAWA, Sept. 10 The Canadian Minister of National War Services, Mr. J. G. Gardiner, has announced that 988,725 single men, aged between 19 and 45 years, have registered for military service. Of this total, 77,983 are in the 21year class and will start training in October. Two batches of 30,000 each are to be called up before Christmas. The figures do not include the 60,000 men who have already enlisted for active service.

The second Canadian war loan of 141,000,000 dollars has been fully subscribed.
