AWARUA FOR SYDNEY NINE PASSENGERS BOOKED The flying-boat Awarua, of Tasman - Empire Airways, Limited, will leave • Auckland for Sydney at six o'clock this morning, with nine passengers. Cap-' tain J. W. Burgess will be in command. The passengers are:-—Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Murphy, Mr. and Mrs. S. E,. Hawken, Messrs. E. S. Coutts, D. N: Chambers, H. C. F. Crosby, Y. Banno and F. E. Dougall. SOUTH PACIFIC ROUTE CLIPPER LEAVING TO-DAY t One of Pan American Airways' Boeing Clippers in, regular use in the South Pacific service, is scheduled to leave San Francisco this morning, New Zealand time, to begin the regular fortnightly passenger service to Auckland. The machine is due at Auckland nest Monday afternoon. Delays caused by weather conditions on recent trips have resulted in a slight ■ rearrangement of the schedule between San Francisco and Auckland, Thursday ** being the usual day of arrivals.Tie flight to begin to-day is the firsv.ou which ordinary passenger traffic \s being accepted, but details of tbe pas-' senger-list have not.yet been received by the Auckland agents for the com- ■ pany, Henderson and Macfarlane, Limited.
