IDLE AGAIN
MacDONALD COLLIERY 200 MINERS WALK OUT. NO WORK THIS MORNING [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] BLUNTLY, "Wednesday The dispute which opened at the Mac Donald section of Glen Afton Collieries on Tuesday of last week, when 200 miners decided not to work until ono man'sidaim for wet-time payment, had been determined, was revived again this morning, when, after working for an hour, the men returned to their homes. No work will bo done at the mino to-morrow.
Tlio men were idle on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday last week. They worked on Friday and again on Monday and Tuesday of this week. It is understood that the men held a meeting to receive a report from the disputes committee this morning, and subsequently left the mine after working only an hour. The Northern Miners' Union executive hold a meeting tonight to discuss the situation, but it was announced that no finality had been reached. A further meeting with tho men will tako place at tho MacDonald mine to-morrow afternoon.
