VESSEL OVERDUE

YAWL FROM THE PACIFIC AUCKLAND MEN ON BOARD Having left Sura on August 10 for Auckland the 34ft. American yawl Marie is now about a week overdue and is thought to hare been delayed by bad weather. Owned and commanded by Captain Frank Dona, the Marie left Auckland on May 17 for a cruise, including the Tongan and Fiji groups and possibly Sunday Island. Captain Dona is accompanied by Mr. C. S. Dent, of Hamilton, and Mr. L. D. D. Ryan, of Auckland. The Marie, which was built at Seattle, flies the United States flag. She first came to Auckland from Seattle, via Australia, in March, 1939.
