EMERGENCY PRECAUTIONS

ELLERSLIE WARDENS A meeting arranged by the Ellerslie Borough Council in connection with the Emergency Precautions Scheme was held in tho Masonic Hall on Wednesday night, tho mayor, Mr. H. J. White, presiding over an attendance of 100 men and women team workers. Mr. White explained that the district had been divided into seven blocks with a district warden, block and team wardens, together with team workers. Tho action of the council members was endorsed at the meeting and it was further resolved to hold a conference of block and team wardens and also anothor meeting of tho full committee next week for the purpose of a series of lectures and instruction in work connected with first aid, air raid precautions and epidemics.
