GILDO DEFEATS HUTCHINSON [BY TELECIUrH —IPItF.SS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Sunday * Showing all tho ncience and speed for which he is noted, Young Gildo outpointed Johnny Hutchinson in a 12-nJunda professional contest at tho Town Hall last night. In spite of heavy rain and bleak conditions, a large crowd attended. Keeping the fighting close, Gildo excelled himself and would have won by a wider niacin had not both Ins hands gone back on him dnring the contest, thereby preventing him putting much power into his punches.
