DRINK AT DANCE HALL

Charges of being found in control of liquor in the vicinity of a dance hall at Papatoetoe were brought against William Ford and Francis Patrick Poach in the Otahuhu Police Court yesterday. Charges of drinking liquor near a dance hall at Manurewa were preferred against Bertio Bentley, Roy \ erdun Gibbs, Neville Guy Walker and Eric Samuel Walker.

None of the defendants appeared. Gibbs was fined 30s and costs and each of the others £2 and costs.
