Allan Howard York (Mr. Terry), aged 31, v and Gerald Alston Lewis (Mr. Dickson), aged 29, both of whom were charged with housebreaking, were sentenced to eight months' imprisonment with hard labour. King), who had pleaded guilty to burglary at a city jeweller's shop and the theft of diamond rings. His Honor said the accused had twice been in trouble for theft and been placed on probation. He had misused his talents and education, and tho only result then could bo a term in gaol. Walter Joseph Brophy (Mr. Sullivan), aged 46, married, was placed on probation for four years under special conditions, on a charge of indecent assault upon a male.
