OBITUARY

■MR. EDMUND JONES [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Monday The death has occurred of Mr. Edmund Jones, aged 96. Ho was the oldest living old boy of the Nelson College. He was a printer on the West Coast in the early days of the gold digging. He subsequently camo to Wellington and joined the Government Printing Office. He retired on superannuation 32 years ago. MRS. E. E. LEIGH [from our own .correspondent] H.UNTLY, Monday The death has occurred of Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Leigh, of Glen Murray, aged 79. Born at Melbourne Mrs. Leigh came to New Zealand in 1898. Before coming to Glen Murray she lived in the Manawatu and Lower Rutt districts and at Christcluirch. She had resided at Glen Murray for the past 16 years Mrs. Leigh is survived by two sons.
