TAXING FARM LABOUR

Sir, —Please allow 1110 space-to point out that there are hundreds like myself working 011 farms doing out best to increase production. Yet with the cost of living going up we are expected to pay 2s tax 011 our board allowance, as well .as 2s in the pound 011 our wages, which I think is quite unfair. Everybody except us seems to he getting higher wages to cope with the cost of living. I think we are entitled to a bit more consideration, as we have to pay the same prices for our clothes, etc., as tlio big money earner. Farmhand.
