Mr. J. G. Stout, of Gisborne, arrived in Auckland yesterday and is at .the Grand Hotel.
Mr. P. B. Porter, assistant-general manager of the Bank of !New Zealand, is visiting Auckland. ,
Mr F. R. Picot. director of the Internal Marketing Division, returned to Wellington by the limited express last night.
Mr, W. R. Butcher, locomotive engineer of the Bailway Department, returned to -Auckland by train from Wellington yesterday."
Mr. B. F. H. Whitcombe. of Christchurch, who lately returned from a visit to Australia, left for the south by last night's express.
Mr. A. L. Smith, transportation superintendent of the Bailway Department. travelled to Wellington by the limited express last night.
Mr. F. T. Spidy, controller of the munitions production division of the Ministry of Supply, spent several days in Auckland after returning from Australia. and left by air for Wellington yesterday. --
