Mr. Jack Brodie, author of several hooks under the pen-name of John Guthrie, has accepted position on „ the staff of the British Air Ministry.
The Rev. D. N. MacDiarmid. of Epsom, director of missions < 6f. the Presbyterian Church, is at present visiting Wellington, and was the preacher yesterday at St. John's Presbyterian Church.
Sir Harry Batterbee, High Commissioner for the United Kingdom, who took part in the welcome gatherings at the inauguration of the Pacific air service. left again on Saturday morning by car for Wellington.
