DANGEROUS RIDING

MOTOR-CYCLISTS FINED At the Papakura Police Court yesterday two motor-cyclists, Ernest Carl Hansch, aged IS. of Epsom, and Desmond Greacon. aged 17, of Epsom, wore charged with dangerous driving. Sergeant R. Corston said the defendants were riding along the Clevedon Road at a speed estimated at 50 miles an hour- when Hansch went, periousl.y near to two girl cyclists, and Greacon actually collided with one of the girls, causing her slight injuries. Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., fined Hansch .C2 on the dangerous driving charge and 10s for having no driver's licence. Costs amounted to los 2d. Greaeeu was ordered to pay costs, 1 -ss, for dangerous driving, and was disqualified from holding a driver's licence for six months. For having no driver's licence he was fined los and costs, 10s. On a further charge of having no warrant of fitness Greacon was fined 10s, costs amounting to 12s 3d.
