PATRIOTIC FUNDS AIDED

The New Zealand Golf Council received at Its monthly meeting in Wellington an appreciative letter from the National I atriotic Fund Board relntive to its first payment or CIOOO. It was reported that after this payment there was available (including subsidies) a further £'2oo 13s. and it was resolved to send in the available balance at the end of this week, plus any further amounts that may come in in tho meantime and the subsidies attaching to them. As the fund is being' closed this week, clubs are recommended to send in any further amounts thev n)ay be able to collect to their local secretaries'of the' Red Cross Appeal Fund.
