EMERGENCY MEASURES

ONE TREE HILL SUPPORT A series of recommendations in connection . with emergency precautions, formulated at a meeting of Mayors and chairmen of local ladies on Monday, were adopted without dissent at a meeting of the Ono Tree Hill Borough Council last nig'r.t. The council expressed its willingness to pay £267 as its share of the immediate cost. "The present is a time when everything has to give "way to matters such as those provided in this scheme," said the Mayor, Mr. I. J. Goldstine. He added that details had already been finalised in the borough in the fixing of areas and depots, and sub-wardens had been appointed.
