POSTED MISSING FORMER TARANAKI PILOT • - 4 Cabled advice has been received ,by, Mrs'. L. B. Iteaj of Great South Road, Papatoetoe, that her son, Pilot-Officeij_ Kenneth Noel Rea, of >the; Royal Ah; Force, has been posted as missing ail the result of air operations. 1

Pilot-Officer Rea, who is 28, was born at New Plymouth! and educated! at the Boys' High School. He won a flying scholarship and was a member of the New Plymouth Aero Club prior to learing New Zealand in July, 1937, to take up a short service commission in the Royal Air Force. Be wag one of the first draft of 18 pilots to leave the Dominion for service in England. He has been on active service continuously since the outbreak of war.
