BRISK RECRUITING

SHARP RISE THIS WEEK Substantial rises in the daily recruiting figures at the Drill Hall, Rutland Street, for service in the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force, were recorded on Tuesday and yesterday. On Friday last there were 45 recruits, 4S the following day and 73 on Monday, but on Tuesday the total was 92, and yesterday it rose steeply to 136, making a total of 394 in five recruiting days. 1
