BODY NOT IDENTIFIED

The identity of a man whose body was found on the shore near Shelly Beach on Sunday was still not established late last night. The police do not suspect foul play, and believe the victim was an Australian, aged between 50 and 60. He was a stout man, of fair complexion, about sft. 9in. tall. His clothing included a black overcoat, a brown sports coat, black trousers, blue striped shirt, black tie and boots. The arms were tattooed. An inquest will be opened to-day.
