[from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Monday Work lias been commenced on the construction of a new hydro-electric station on the banks of the Waikato Bivcr at. Karapiro. near Cambridge, ]0 men being engaged in preparing the camp for. the 500 men it is expected will be employed there.
