Notice is hereby given that the Central Waikato Electric-Power Board proposes, to raise a Special - Loan under the provisions of "The Electric-Power Boards Act, 1025. "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 192b, and Amendments and Regulations made thereunder, sanction as required by The Local Government Loans Board Act, 10-0, having been obtained. . The Special Area over which it is proposed to raise the loan is the Raglan Special Area No. 2, comprising:— (a) That portion of the County of Raglan included in the Central Waikato Elec-tric-Power District by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette on December 21. IP3S, at page 2813, as amended and altered by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette on July 27. 1030, at page 2012; i(b) That portion of the County of Rag an included in the Central Waikato Elec-tric-Power District by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette on June 22, 1030, at page 1848. -The purpose for which the loan is required is for Constructing and Erecting : Transmission Lines, Transformer Stations and All Fittings and Appliances for Conveying Transmitting and Distributing Electricity in the aforesaid Specal Area, including the Purchase of All Necessary Land, Buildings,. Material, Plant and Tools, and All Payments for Labour, Engineers' Fees, Plans and Supervision and for Compensation to Owners of Property in respect of such works. The sum which it is proposed to borrow is £13,000. ■ It is proposed that the term for which the loan is borrowed shall not exceed Twentysix (26) Years, and that the said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall bij repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over a period not exceeding the,said term of Twenty-six (26) Years, that payment of such instalments ,shall be made in New Zealand, and that no such instalments shall be paid out of loan money. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan. The proposed security for the payment of tho instalments on the aforesaid loan of £13.000 is an annually recurring special rate of three-fifth's of a penny (3-sd) in the pound on the rateable value, on the basis of capital ▼alne, of all rateable property in tho aforesaid Special area.
