SECOND ECHELON MEN

PRESENTATIONS MADE Nearly -100 residents of Paiimure and Mount Wellington met in the old school, Panmuro, recently, in honour of Messrs. M. F. Finiiertv, K. E. Kcaney, M. G. M. F. Ashman, M. H. Martin. It. P. A. Peters, F. Whittington, A. Jones, G. Sharp, F. \V. S. Brown, H. Carter, J. F. Pagan and J. A. Hewitt, members of the second echelon, Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force. The chairman. Mr. J. Carnachan, addressed the meeting, and a Speech was also made by Mr. H. Hay, chairman of the Mount Wellington Koad Board. The presentation of a wallet to each guest of honour was made by Mr. W. 0. Hall, president of the local Returned Soldiers' Association, on behalf of those present.
