appointment of judges [from our own correspondent]HAMILTON, Tuesday Arrangements aro well advanced for the next Waikato Winter Show, which will be held in Hamilton from May 30 to June 8. Entries for the dairy classes close this week. So far the numbers received compare favourably with those of previous years, and there is every indication that the exhibition will maintain its pre-eminence as a dairy show by staging the greatest collection of butter and cheese to be seen at any show in New Zealand. The following judges were appointed at a mooting of the show association s executive committee to-day: Potatoes.—Mr. G. Kinf?, Tnihnnc; carrots and horticulture, Mr. J. Reynolds, _ Pukekohe; mangolds and swedes, Mr. W. D. Carson, Wanganui; ensilage and nay, Mr. J. F. Shepherd, Hamilton; fruit, Mr. J. W. Whellan, Hamilton; apiculture, Mr. W. J. Fix, Hamilton; cooking, Mr. A. Stormont, Auckland; bread, Mr. J. Parkes. Auckland; pickles and presorves. Mr. G. Hcald, Auckland; photography, Mr. H. E. Gazo, Hamilton; model aeroplanes, Mr, F. C. McDonald, Auckland; model engineering, Mr. F. J. Abraham, Hamilton; elocutionary, Mr. A. E. Manning; voo.nl and instrumental music, Miss Jean Emery. Auckland; operatic dancing. Mrs. Lois M'Connoll. Auckland; national dancing. Mr. S. O'Hara, Nelson; wool. Mr. T. Mar.ks, Auckland, and Mr. H. R. Lusk, Wellington. Other appointments of judges were dcforrcd.
