NEW WORLD RECORDS
Eight new world records were established at the annual invitation Dartmouth College athletic meeting in New York last month. They wore:—Dartmouth team.; 3ni 15s for mile relay, also breaking 1600 metres record; Woodruff, Inn 47s for 800 metres, also beating the outdoor record; .lim Herbert, New York University negro, 48 2-os for quarter-mile and 47 9-10s for 400 metres; John Borican, New Yo.rk University negro, 3m Ojs for threequarter mile; New York University team, lm 27 7-10s for half-mile relay.
