CREW OF ACHILLES
WELLINGTON MARCH VISIT ON TUESDAY NEXT [nv TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON". Thursday Twenty officers and 400 111 on of H.M..S. Achilles will pa ratio through tlio streets of Wellington on Tuesday. They are to march from the railway station to Cambridge Terrace, where they will he addressed by the Mayor, Mr. I. C. A. Hislop. who will express the gratitude of Wellington people. The men will arrive here by train from Auckland at 8 a.m.. and at 11 ..'SO a.m. will commence their march through the city, starting from the railway station. The route to be followed will be Lamhton Quay. Willis Street, Manners Street, Courtenav Place and Cambridge Terrace. "As the occasion is such an important one and the crow of the Achilles are deserving of the highest honours that can bo paid to them." said Mr. Hislop, "1 appeal to citizens to show their appreciation of the visit by assembling along the line of route in as large numbers as possible, and especially to those with promises fronting the streets named to make as big and as bright a display of bunting as they possibly can. "In tho evening the crew of the Achilles, with battle colours unfurled, will march down Kingsforrl Smith Street, through the main entrance to the Exhibition, and up to the handshell area. This will he the most impressive spectacle of tho visit and should be seen by everybody."
