MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH
Sir, —After conferring with as many of my fellow-ratepayers as I could, J felt proud of our Mayor in opposing the spending of i.'2ot)l) on an improvement scheme of the Mt. .Kden Borough Council offices. I found many in accord with llis Worship's view of making minor alterations, in the present war conditions, to meet present- needs. AMY Hopk.
