THEFT OF BICYCLE
"This is a type of offence that is very prevalent and difficult to detect," stated Detective-Sergeant Walsh in ih_> Police Court yesterday when Gordon Leonard Riley, aged 50. painter, pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing a bicycle, valued at £3. Accused was admitted to probation for a year.
