FRANKTON MARKET
DECLINE IN YARDINGS EASING TENDENCY SEEN BACONERS AN EXCEPTION [FROM OUIt OWN C'OllßKSrnxnKNT] HAMILTON, Wednesday There was a further dor-line in ox and cow beef prices at the Lu'anktou stock sale to-day, although prime quality heil'er heel' sold readily. Values for J'at calves were slightly easier, while late rates were maintained for honor cattle. A smaller yarding of fat sheep than usual came forward, prices being slightly easier than last sale. Keen competition was experienced for baconers and porkers in the fat sect ion, last week's quotations beiris maintained. Light and unfinished sorts were easier of sale, and stores and weaners were hard to quit. Auctioneers quote:—
