POSTPONEMENT OF TOURNEYS Owing to tho death of the Prime Minister it, was agreed at last night's meeting of the Auckland Baseball Association to postpone the primary and secondary schools' knock-out tourney until April 0. Advice was also rereived from the New Zealand Association tluit Hie inter-provincial tourney to have been held at Wellington next Saturday had also been postponed for a week on the same accounl. During the evening a presentation was made to Elder M. A. Baunigartner, a member of tho management committee and -a wellknown player, who is shortly leaving for the United Slates or America. It was agreed that, unless circumstances altered the position, the remainder of the games of the assa ciation would lie played as advertised. WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION The following matches will be played on Saturday under the control of the Auckland Women's Baseball Association:A Grade.—Owai Rovers v. Training College 3, diamond 2 p.m., Misses Fray and Mnru; Gleaners v. Sydney Trippers, 2 p.m.. diamond 1, Miss Watts; Gleaners v Training College 3, diamond 1, 3 p.m., Misses Thorpe and Browne; Sydney Trippers v. Wednesday Owing (o the majority of the players being away on active service, or waiting, to proceed to camp, the North Auckland Baseball (softbull) Association has decided to go into recess for the duration of the war.
