In the senior competition, Wellington, by defeating Otago, was runner-up to Auckland, winner of the championship. Wellington will hold the Annie Brown Cup. The second grado championship was won by Wanganui. with Southland Minor runner-up. while Marlborough carried off the third grade championship with Wairoa as runner-up. The North v. South game played to-day resulted in a win for the. North Ismnd by the close score of 15—13. Results were as follows: Senior Competition.—Wellington, :>l, v. °'' Second' Orade.—Wanganui, 13, v. Asliburlon, l_'; Wanganui. 13, v. Poverty Bay, o. Kiinil: Wanganui, 18, v. Southland Minor, 11. Southland Minor won the ffayhurst (.up for runner-up by defeating Poverty Bay, 1-1-—-13. Third Orade. —Horowhenua, 10, v. llokitikn, l; Bullcr, v. Marlborough, 10. At the conclusion of the tournament, visitors wore entertainer! to afternoon tea, Hot Excellency. Lady GaUvay, presenting the trophies.
