Ellen Ida Campbell, a hospital nur.se, of Matamata, was seriously injured, while the pillion rider on Stokes' cycle, Mr. H. C. Clarke, was not seriously hurt. Evidence was given to-day l>v Dr. Kenneth MncGregor, of the Waikato Hospital staff, that Brick was dead when he arrived at the hospital following the accident. The coroner returned a verdict that deceased died as the result of injuries received in the accident.
