MOTOR-CYCLE FATALITY
VERDICT AT THE INQUEST [from our nw>: correspondent] HAMILTON, "Wednesday Thr adjourned inquest into the death of Colin William Brick, aged 21, dairy | factory hand. To Aroha, who died on the way to the AVaikato Hospital from ' head injuries received when the motor- ; cycle lie was riding was involved in a | head-011 collision with a motor-cycle I ridden by Frederick Albert George | Strokes on the Alexander Road, Te Aroha, at S.lO p.m. on Christmas Day last, .was concluded before the coroner, Mr. S. Jj. I'iitersoii, S.M., in Hamilton to-day. As the result of the accident Stokes was killed instantly. The pillion rider on Brick's cycle. Miss. Ellen Ida Campbell, a hospital nur.se, of Matamata, was seriously injured, while the pillion rider on Stokes' cycle, Mr. H. C. Clarke, was not seriously hurt. Evidence was given to-day l>v Dr. Kenneth MncGregor, of the Waikato Hospital staff, that Brick was dead when he arrived at the hospital following the accident. The coroner returned a verdict that deceased died as the result of injuries received in the accident.
