NEWTON FATALITY
MAN NOT IDENTIFIED Ar» elderly man who was knocked down by a motor-car in Newton Road on Monday night died in the Auckland Hospital early yesterday morning. Tlic police have not established his identity. His description is as follows: —Between 60 and 70 years of age. height oft. Bin., about in weight, grey hair, grey moustache, no teeth, light grey suit] tan shoes, plain white shirt with soft coloured collar, the ivord "Basil" on it in black ink. khaki socks, large white handkerchief with letter "E." on it. dark tie with small round spots. On the man's forearm a flag is tattooed, as well as a bird or cross.
