FIVE PEOPLE INJURED CHINESE SUFFERS SEVERELY [BY TELEGRAPH' —PRESS ASSOCIATION] HASTINGS, Tuesday Five people were injured, one seriously. when a light rental car collided violently with a fruit lorry in Hastings at six o'clock this evening. The victims were: —Mr. Stanley Wong, of Hastings, a Chinese, concussion and shock; Mr. John Steadman, of Auckland, shoulder injuries: Mr. George Snell. of Hastings, bead injuries; Mr. Charles Ewin, of Napier, bead injuries; Mr. George Tod, of Otahuliu, cuts and abrasions.
