AUCKLAND SUCCESSES BY SPINDRIFT The Auckland boats To Utu and Mania, which took part in the Paremata (Wellington) regatta at Easter met with success. In.the race for Takapuna Z class boats Te Utu, sailed by her owner, R. Matheson, won the Quirke Plaque. Three races were held to decide the winner. The points gained were:Te Utu (Auckland), 151.70, .1; Matnukn (Evans Bay), 3-11.0, Twink (Paremata). im.s.">. ;t. The' Y rlns« boat Mania, sailed by her owner, J. McKinnon, won the square bilge championship, and al.so the Willcox Cup. This tropin- was presented by the Ponsonby Cruising Club (Auckland) Tor annual competition Rona-Jellicoc ch ampio "f>' % A™ te d jorio Kitty (Wellington), which defeatea j by nearly a minute and a-naii.
